We know there is a lot of uncertainty following the recent federal funding freeze. For now, Virginia Fresh Match will continue operating as usual, thanks to state funds already allocated through the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. We anticipate that the current GusNIP funds will also continue to be available.

What this means:
✅ SNAP customers can keep shopping at VFM locations.
✅ VFM locations will continue to be reimbursed as usual.
✅ No interruptions to SNAP benefits have been announced.

We know that this program provides meaningful, reliable income to farmers and business owners, and is a critical food source for families across Virginia. VFM remains committed to providing fresh produce to our community, especially during these challenging times.
